Our Solution
SSDs are up to a hundred times faster than HDDs. SSDs offer shorter boot times for your computer, more immediate data transfer and higher bandwidth. Faster speeds mean SSDs can handle data at the ultra-high speeds necessary in today’s business world, especially when running programs that access large amounts of data such as an operating system. Also, SSDs are very stable, which ensures that stored data is secure.
SATA SSD: HDDs are only able to achieve 50-120 MB/s in write performance. In comparison, SSDs saturate the SATA bus at 550 MB/s. Despite bus limitation, it’s common to see an overall system performance improvement of 10-15 times when using SATA-based SSDs in place of legacy HDD technology.
NVMe SSD: NVMe technology utilises the PCIe bus, instead of the SATA bus, to unlock enormous bandwidth potential for storage devices. PCIe 4.0 (the current version) offers up to 32 lanes and can, in theory, transfer data at up to 64,000MB/s compared to the 600MB/s specification limit of SATA III.
A USB flash drive is a device used for data storage that includes a flash memory and an integrated Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface. Most USB flash drives are removable and rewritable. Physically, they are small, durable and reliable. The larger their storage space, the faster they tend to operate. USB flash drives are mechanically very robust because there are no moving parts. They derive the power to operate from the device to which they are connected (typically a computer) via the USB port.
A USB flash drive may also be known as a flash drive or USB drive.
eMMC stands for embedded MultiMediaCard. It's a type of internal storage embedded or attached to a device or a PC motherboard. eMMC storage uses the MultiMediaCard standard and is based on NAND flash memory.
The NAND flash memory used in eMMC storage isn't unique to eMMC and is found in other types of storage like Secure Digital (SD) cards, solid-state drives (SSD), and USB drives.
eMMC storage is usually found in budget-friendly laptops, as well as tablets, Chromebooks, tablet PCs, 2-in-1 computers, and smartphones.
